Dr. Allen and her staff at Phoenix Endodontic Group are pleased to welcome Dr. Susan Wood to their team as a full time associate. Dr. Wood is excited to live in the Valley of the Sun and will primarily be working out of our Paradise Valley location.
Dr. Susan Wood received her D.D.S. from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2003. She completed her endodontic residency at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2005. Dr. Wood spent seven years as a partner at an endodontic practice in Colorado Springs and has practiced in New Mexico since 2012.
Dr. Wood’s professional affiliations include her position as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry, and Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. An active member of the American Association of Endodontists, Dr. Wood serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Journal of Endodontics and several committees including Public and Professional Affairs and a special committee to revise the Standards.
She presently serves as the treasurer of the Santa Fe District Dental Society and recently served as an action team leader for New Mexico in Washington D.C. at the 2013 annual American Dental Association (ADA) leadership conference. Dr. Wood has worked for the last two years at the New Mexican Dental Mission of Mercy in Endodontics. Her plan is to be very active in the Arizona Dental Association and participate in the Central Arizona Dental Society Mission of Mercy.
